How Tatroid collects, uses, and protects information during the beta.

Last updated: July 2026 (beta draft)

Beta template notice: this is a starting-point privacy policy for Tatroid's beta and is not legal advice. Please have it reviewed and finalized by a qualified lawyer before relying on it for compliance (including GDPR, CCPA, India's DPDP Act, or other applicable law) in any market you launch in.

1. Information we collect

When you create a profile, apply to a role, or post a job on Tatroid, we collect information you provide directly — such as your name, contact details, work history, skills, and any documents or links you choose to add. We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, features used, device and browser type) to keep the platform working and to improve it.

2. How we use it

To operate core features: profile matching, Smart Apply, recruiter search, and messaging between candidates and recruiters. To personalize recommendations, such as job matches or skill-growth suggestions. To maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues. To communicate with you about your account, beta updates, or changes to this policy.

3. Who can see your information

Recruiters can see candidate profile information that a candidate has chosen to make visible. Candidates can see public information about a company and the roles it posts. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Tatroid uses cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences (like light or dark mode), and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
